Dayara Bugyal Winter . Is there a good time to go on this hike? May is the most popular month because it is the holiday season, but I have never enjoyed it during that month. Dayara Bugyal Trek  . The yatra season has begun, which means there will be a lot of traffic on the approach roads, the lower portions will be hot, so you'll need an air-conditioned vehicle for the drive to Uttar Kashi, and you'll meet other people on the trek. If you don't have a choice, go in May, but the best months to visit are April, June, October, and November.

The monsoon season lasts from July until mid-September, so I wouldn't go during that time. Because the monsoons can linger until the end of September, it's advisable to avoid making plans in September unless you have no other option. December is also beautiful, but it's really chilly, therefore I wouldn't recommend camping in Dayara Bugyal because the nights would be frigid. In January and February, there will be a lot of snow, which might be either a good thing or a bad one.

While the high altitude of Uttarakhand's Garhwal Himalayas, with glaciers, a dense concentration of steep mountains, and massive rivers, is breathtaking, the lower altitude in Garhwal is largely regarded to be less so. Lower elevations in Himachal Pradesh and Kumaon are thought to be more beautiful, with more virgin forests and luxuriant flora. As a result, the first 1-2 days of my Garhwal trek were difficult for me. To me, it was mostly dusty, barren, and uninspired.
