We shall pick you up early in the morning from the Dehradun railway station or bus stop on the first day. Sankri is located 220 kilometres from Dehradun and takes 9 hours to reach. You'll arrive late in the afternoon at Lohajung and spend the night in a guest house.
On the first day, the walk begins in Sankri and ends at Juda-ka-Talab. Along the trek, take in the breathtaking views of Bandarpoonch Peak. The hike is mostly through a coniferous, cedar, and oak rainforest. Juda-ka-Talab The hike is around 4 kilometres long and will take about 5 hours to complete. The lake of Juda-ka-Talab is breathtakingly gorgeous. Juda-ka-Talab Lake is surrounded by classic frozen oak trees, making it an ideal camping spot.
After breakfast, the journey from Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base will commence, which will take approximately 4 hours. The entirety of today's walk is on a ridge, with oak trees providing shade. Several meadows with shepherd log cottages and beautiful panoramas of Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Kala Nag, and Ranglana, to name a few, will also be passed through.
