Kedarnath Tour
Kedarnath Tour . The Kedarnath temple, which is located among the beautiful snow-capped Garhwal Himalayan hills, attracts thousands of visitors each year.
Before the monsoon rains of 2013, it used to take six hours to go from Gaurikund to Kedarnath, travelling through Rambara and Garur Chatti. Beginning in Gaurikund, a new 14-kilometer route has recently inaugurated. Before crossing the Mandakini River and proceeding to the south face of the Kedarnath peak, the route passes through Jangal Chatti, Chhoti Linchuli, and Badi Linchuli. The second path, which begins in Sonprayag, approximately 5 kilometres from Gaurikund, and winds its way up to Kedarnath via Gomkara, Dev Vishnu, and Dhumgajgiri, is also an option.
The annual Badri Kedar Festival, which takes place in June, is one of the attractions of Kedarnath. Flags, festoons, and flowers adorn the town, which emanates a festive mood. Because it is a summer festival, when the temple opens its doors to pilgrims, the temple is full with believers, eager photographers, and travellers. Artists, dancers, singers, and painters flock to Kedarnath for the Badri Kedar Festival, which lasts eight days and showcases their work in this breathtaking setting amid the festivities. It's an excellent way to learn about Uttarakhand's history, culture, and traditions.
