Kedarkantha Winter Expedition
Kedarkantha Winter Expedition
Along the travel path, you'll observe snowy mountains, peaks, deodar and pine woods, waterfalls, bugyals (high altitude meadows), fauna, and rare Himalayan birds. From afar, the majestic peaks of Swragarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Kala Nag may be viewed. Duryodhana, the eldest of the Kauravas, is worshipped here. Botanists, bird watchers, photographers, nature lovers, trail runners, and everyone interested in exploring and learning in a unique way would find this journey path to be a true paradise.
See and feel what it's like to navigate and live in the high-altitude, snowy Garhwal Himalayas. Learn how to walk in the snow with clampons, establish snow paths, self-rescue, and prepare a meal in such a cold and windy environment. Set up tents in the snow every day and wake up to a wonderfully white world. This is a true adventure!
The gang prepares for the next snow adventure with a lengthy strategy session. Menus, food, and utensils are all supplied, as well as a complete checklist for surviving the cold. The materials should be divided and distributed ('khachchars' can help with the heavy lifting). As the days pass, the professors step aside and the students take command.
