Here's a rough itinerary to give you an idea of what to expect:

The hike to Kedarkantha begins with a picturesque drive to Sankri via Mussoorie and the Tons River. You'll be spending the night here.

Today you'll hike to Juda Ka Talab, one of the most beautiful campsites you'll ever see. It's a little pool surrounded by pine trees and backed by snow-capped mountains. Make sure you get up early tomorrow to witness the mountains turn golden as the sun rises!

Today you'll go to the base of Kedarkantha. You'll arrive in the early afternoon, and the rest of the day will be spent relaxing at camp, visiting the area, and preparing for the next day.

You'll start early today because it's a long walk (about 8 hours). To reach the peak, you'll ascend up the Kedarkantha ridge, which offers breathtaking views on both sides. However, the best views are from the summit.

Today you'll return to Sankri on foot, where you'll board the vehicles that have been waiting for you. You'll be transported back to Dehradun and dropped off in the late afternoon.
