Best Time to Visit Brahmatal
March to April:
This is the best time to visit if you are a nature lover and an anthophile. The Brahmatal trek is famed for its beautiful rhododendron woods, which begin with red rhododendrons in the spring and transition to vivid pink rhododendrons at higher elevations.
The best part is that in early Spring, the snow will linger in pockets along the trail, allowing the blooms to stand out to everyone going by. By mid-April, though, the snow had completely melted.
Expect temperatures of 15–20 degrees Celsius during the day and 1–5 degrees at night on the cruise. It's also possible that rain will cause localised alterations.
September to October:
Autumn gives stunning golden, brown, and scarlet hues to the region. Even if the rhododendrons aren't in bloom, you'll be met by views of lush canopy-covered forest floors.
Autumn ushers in the dry season in the Himalayas, with little or no rain. This also means that the skies have cleared and the sun is shining, allowing you to see peaks like Chaukhamba (7138 metres), Nilkanth (6596 metres), Hathi (6727 metres), and Ghori (6727 metres) in the distance (6708 meters).
This also contributes to the stunning Himalayan sunrises and sunsets. Every campground along the way will give you with beautiful riots of hues in the autumn sky at sunset and sunrise.
Depending on when you go, the temperature on the route may range from 13 to 18 degrees Celsius during the day. During the late autumn months, temperatures at higher elevations can drop to as low as -2 to -3 degrees.
